The Milwaukee Brewers will go from South Beach to Detroit when they resume their six-game road trip on Tuesday, April 21.
That means, after the day off on Monday, April 20, the Brewers will also resume playing American League teams, a trend for the team early in 2026.
The Brewers’ series against the Detroit Tigers on April 21-23 will be their sixth against an AL team in their first eight series this season. By contrast, the Brewers have yet to play a National League Central team.
The Brewers (12-9), hit hard by injuries to begin the season, will look to win their third straight series after taking two of three games against the Toronto Blue Jays and Miami Marlins last week. They got back on track with some small-ball victories after a rare six-game losing streak that spanned three series.
The Tigers (12-11), coming off a playoff season in which they advanced to the AL Divisional round, are coming off a four-game split with the Boston Red Sox after a six-game winning streak.

No, the Brewers have a day off on Monday, April 20, to split up their two road series between Miami and Detroit. It’s the second of three straight weeks the Brewers won’t be playing on Monday.

The Brewers’ next game is Tuesday, April 21, when they begin a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.
The first pitch is set for 5:40 p.m. Central with Kyle Harrison (1-1, 3.07 ERA, 1.09 WHIP) pitching.

They’ve won five of their first seven series – all have been three-game sets – to begin the season. They’ve swept one team, which came to start the season against the Chicago White Sox at home, and they’ve been swept once, which came against the Washington Nationals at home during their six-game losing streak that saw them go from 8-2 to 8-8.

Fans with a theme-night ticket package receive a Grogu bobblehead. There will also be Star Wars-themed entertainment throughout the game, plus a postgame laser show.
The first 25,000 ticketed fans received a Brewers windbreaker. Sizes are adult medium and adult extra large.
The first 5,000 ticketed fans 14 and younger receive a poster of the Brewers relief pitcher.

After the Brewers finish their two-city, six-game road trip, they have a six-game homestand April 24-30 against the Pirates and Arizona Diamondbacks to close out the month. The first two games in each series are at night and the two series finales are day games.
