De Pere police look for owner of 'Cars'-themed Corvette

De Pere police are looking for the driver of a red “Cars” movie-themed Corvette that appeared in the city May 24.

The police department said in a Facebook post the car was by South Erie and Bomier streets and Virginia Drive around 9 p.m. May 24, but didn’t indicate why officers are looking for the driver.

The car has Lightning McQueen-themed stickers, a lightning bolt, and McQueen’s “95” number on both doors of the car.
