Corn mazes, fall treats and more: Your Sheboygan-area guide to apple and pumpkin picking

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY – Enjoy this fall season with apple orchards, pumpkin patches and other seasonal activities across the county.  

From picking the perfect pumpkin to exploring corn mazes, several local businesses are offering fall festivities and family fun.

Here’s your guide to apple orchard and pumpkin patches in the area.

Apple orchards offer you pick, apple cider and other fall treats  

Pigeon River Orchard

The orchard, 3532 N. 21st St. in Sheboygan, grows more than 20 varieties of apples and sells caramel apples, honey and cider.

The orchard is open 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays to Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. Contact Pigeon River Orchard at 920-316-7989 or PigeonRiverOrchard@protonmail.com.

Log Cabin Orchard

The orchard, N4797 County Road E in Plymouth, hosts apple picking and a farm stand. Log Cabin can be found at farmers’ markets across the area, including Sheboygan, Plymouth and Fox Point. Customers can order online or call for a pickup, too.

M&T’s Gibbsville Orchard

M&T’s Gibbsville, N3322 State 32 in Sheboygan Falls, is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The orchard grows nearly 30 apple varieties, and the offerings for picking will change throughout the season.

The orchard also offers picked apples and store with baked goods, dips and more. Activities include a rubber duck race and fall festivals. Contact M&T’s Gibbsville at 920-564-2944 or gibbsvilleorached@gmail.com.  

Pumpkin patches feature corn mazes, wagon rides and more

Spieker’s Pumpkin Farm

Spieker’s, N1181 State 57 in Random Lake, will reopen for the season Sept. 20, offering an array of pumpkins and fall decorations for sale, along with concessions and a “America the Great”-themed corn maze.

Entry to the corn maze is $6 per person, but children 3 years old and younger are free. Spieker’s is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Contact Spieker’s at 920-994-9740.  

Bulitz Pumpkin Farm

Bulitz, N6327 Rangeline Road in Kohler, will be open Oct. 1-30 for pumpkin picking. Horse-drawn wagon rides and pony rides will also be offered.

It will be open 10 a.m. to dark on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekend days. Contact Bulitz Pumpkin Farm at 920-467-2782.  

Pleasure Valley Pumpkin Farm

Pleasure Valley Pumpkin Farm, W7757 County Road A in Adell, will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends from Oct. 4-26. The pumpkin farm offers pumpkin picking, a petting zoo and a bouncy house. Visitors can also check out a train ride, corn maze and face painting, among other activities.

Entry is $16 cash or $17 using a credit card. Children younger than 2 years old are admitted free. Contact Pleasure Valley at 920-994-9294.
