Left-hander Robert Gasser (0-1, 6.48) was recalled from Class AAA Nashville and will start for the Brewers while right-hander Logan Webb (2-4, 4.82) counters for the Giants.
Left-hander Rob Zastryzny was placed on the 15-day injured list with a left trapezius strain, which cleared a spot on the 26-man roster for Gasser.
