“Thank you for all your support over the years,” the post stated as it directed customers to the pizza chain’s Wisconsin Rapids location.

Papa John’s Pizza first opened at 108 Division St. in Stevens Point in the late 1990s and closed in the early 2000s. That Papa John’s location became a shared location for Jimmy John’s and Dosirak Korean Lunch Box, now the home of Jimmy John’s and BroKogi Korean Fusion Restaurant.

Papa John’s reopened in December 2017 at 101 Division St. N., in the former RadioShack space.

The Wisconsin Rapids Papa John’s officially returned to the city in November 2025 at 631 Eighth St. S. That location’s opening marked the return of the brand to the city after about 20 years. Papa John’s first opened in Wisconsin Rapids in June 2000. By April 2005, it was replaced with another restaurant.
