Caleb Williams has been on a Green Bay hate tour as of late.
The Chicago Bears quarterback hasn’t shied away from sharing his disdain for his NFC North rivals. In fact, he recently was part of a chant taking aim at the Green Bay Packers.
Over the weekend, Williams was seen at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash Festival in Bridgeview, Illinois. In a video circulating online, a chant of “F— Green Bay” broke out in a section of the festival, with Williams in the middle of it.
Accompanying Williams during the cheer was Cole Bennett, music video director and the founder of the festival’s multimedia company, Lyrical Lemonade. A Chicagoland native, Bennett is a Bears fan and has even done collaborations between the team and his company.
Williams has had lots to say about the Packers after his rookie season. On June 20, Williams was at Fanatics Fest in New York City, where he was asked about the NFL fan bases he dislikes. “Probably Green Bay,” Williams said. “They suck.”
Summer Smash wasn’t the first time Williams led a cheer against Green Bay. In June 2024, Williams was seen at a Chicago bar, leading fans in a “Green Bay sucks” chants.
All of this comes after Williams and the Bears defeated the Packers in the final game of the 2024 season, which ended the Bears’ 11-game losing streak against the Packers.
Packers fans will have to wait and see if Williams can back up his words next season, as the Packers welcome the Bears to Lambeau on Dec. 7. The Bears will then host the Green and Gold on Dec. 20 at Soldier Field.
