Arkansas tops Wisconsin for talented class of 2027 offensive lineman

The Arkansas Razorbacks have beaten Wisconsin in the battle for offensive tackle Alijah Shaw.

Thankfully for the Badgers, they already have a ton of incoming offensive lineman, so losing this battle isn’t the end of the world.

It still stings, especially to make the final four only to be beaten by an SEC program, but at the end of the day, Luke Fickell is more than thrilled with where his class of 2027 is at.

“First, I want to thank God, my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. With that being said, I am blessed and excited to announce that I have committed to the University of Arkansas! WOO PIG SOOIE!” Shaw posted after announcing his commitment on Rivals’ YouTube channel.

Shaw, a three-star recruit by Rivals, is ranked as high as four-stars by 247Sports. He stands 6-foot-8, 275 pounds, but Wisconsin already has five incoming offensive linemen.

Even without landing Shaw, Badgers fans still have the likes of Ethan McIntosh, Jack Tabbert, Cole Reiter, and Hunter and Reece Mallinger to look forward to in the class of 2027.
