Kimberly 11, Oshkosh North 2
KIMBERLY – The Papermakers scored five runs in the third inning and six in the sixth inning in the victory over the Spartans.
Lex Knaebe had two hits, including a home run, and drove in four runs. Maddux Hermus had two hits and scored two runs, Ryan Halfmann had a triple and drove in three runs, and Drew Furman hit a solo home run for Kimberly.
Pierson Hacker pitched four innings to get the win. He allowed two hits, one run and struck out three. Shaefer Peterson pitched 2⅓ innings of scoreless relief. He didn’t allow a hit and struck out three.
Appleton West 7, Appleton North 6
APPLETON – The Terrors scored a run in their half of the seventh inning to defeat the Lightning.
Quinn Meyers had a triple and drove in four runs for Appleton West. Henry Barclay had two hits.
Reeder Luedtke pitched the final inning for Appleton West and got the win.
The loss was the third straight for Appleton North after a 10-game winning streak.
Neenah 4, Hortonville 3
HORTONVILLE – The Rockets took a 4-1 lead through three innings and then held on to defeat the Polar Bears in a Fox Valley Association matchup.
Ethan Hellengreen was 4-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for Neenah.
Neenah finished with seven hits and improves to 7-3 in the Fox Valley Association.
Cal Juckem pitched six innings for Neenah to get the win. He allowed three runs and struck out six. Connor Amsler pitched the final inning for the save. He did not allow a hit and struck out one.
Brock Wolter had two hits for Hortonville, which had only six hits.
Elijah Yeager allowed four runs (two earned) over five innings for Hortonville. Tristan Berrens pitched the final two innings.
Freedom 11, Oconto Falls 5
FREEDOM – The Irish picked up their first North Eastern Conference win of the season and improved to 4-12 overall with the victory over the Panthers.
Freedom scored three runs in the third inning, four in the fourth and four in the sixth.
Corey Mathison pitched six innings of one-hit ball for the win. He allowed four runs (all unearned), walked five and struck out five.
Elijah Shepard had three hits, scored three runs and had three RBIs for Freedom. Carlton Romitti had three hits and three RBIs, and Carson Peters had two hits and two RBIs. Quinn Brennenstuhl, Luke Schmidt and Ryan Heran also had two hits apiece.
Teagan Tate had two RBIs for Oconto Falls.
Marinette 12, Wrightstown 4
MARINETTE – The Marines, who led 4-3 after three innings, scored eight runs in the final three innings to defeat the Tigers.
Chase MacGregor drove in three runs for Marinette. Wyatt Stauss had three hits, while Miles Rutherford had two hits.
Ryan Leahy had a double and two RBIs for Wrightstown.
Cooper Smith pitched a complete game to get the win for Marinette.
Theo Van Rossum took the loss for Wrightstown.
Waupaca 7, Clintonville 4
CLINTONVILLE – The Comets fell behind 4-3 after five innings and then rallied for four runs in the sixth to defeat the Truckers.
Waupaca improves to 9-5 overall with the win.
Winneconne 5, Seymour 3
SEYMOUR – The Wolves scored twice in the ninth inning to defeat the Thunder in a Bay Conference matchup.
Noah Bouras, Aaron Zimmer and Ethan Duel each had two hits for Winneconne, while Logan Binder and Jesse Michaud both drove in two runs.
Carson Staffeldt had three hits for Seymour. Kobe Barth had two hits.
Zimmer pitched the final five innings for Winneconne, allowing one run on two hits and one walk. He struck out three.
Romy Oskey pitched the final five innings for Seymour and allowed two unearned runs on five hits and one walk. He struck out five.
Menasha 20, Green Bay East/West 4
GREEN BAY – The Bluejays scored seven runs in the second inning and seven in the seventh in their win over the Red Devils.
Menasha had 11 hits and took advantage of 10 walks by Green Bay East/West pitchers.
Green Bay East/West had seven hits, with Levi Meister collecting two hits.
St. Mary Catholic 3, Mishicot 0
MISHICOT – Jacob Ernsting pitched a two-hit shutout to lead the Zephyrs to the win over Mishicot
Ernsting walked two and struck out 13 batters in throwing the complete game for St. Mary Catholic.
Ernsting had two hits, while Nick Jensen drove in two of the three runs for SMC.
Brillion 11, Roncalli 2
MANITOWOC – The Lions scored four runs in the first inning and scored in every inning but the seventh in their win over the Jets.
Joe Shimek, Heath Cousin, Landon Mathes and Kelvin Gilbertson each had two hits for Brillion. Aiden Reinke drove in three runs, while Gilbertson, Mathes and Chase Braun each drove in two runs.
Braun pitched a complete game for Brillion. He allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out two.
Jake Hillmer took the loss for Roncalli.
Manitowoc Lutheran 5, Hilbert 0
MANITOWOC – Isaiah Hochmuth limited the Wolves to two hits and one walk while striking out eight in the Lancers’ win over Hilbert.
Wesley Hecker had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Manitowoc Lutheran.
Aaron Halbach and Max Schneider both had doubles to account for Hilbert’s hits.
Spencer Karls allowed five runs (one earned) over six innings and took the loss for Hilbert.
Two Rivers 12, Chilton 2
CHILTON – The Raiders scored five runs in the first inning and totaled 13 hits against four Tigers pitchers to get the win.
Kale Wagner took the loss for Chilton.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 12, Manawa 0
MANAWA – Drayden Kersten no-hit the Wolves to lead the Chargers to the six-inning win.
Kersten walked one batter while striking out 12 for Wittenberg-Birnamwood.
Connor Meverden and Colby Wincensten both had three hits for Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Braxton Olson had two hits and three RBIs. Eddie Nowinsky drove in two runs.
SOFTBALL
Hortonville 3, Neenah 1
HORTONVILLE – Evalyn Stanelle singled in two runs in the second inning and Eileen Gassner tripled in another run in the fifth to power the Polar Bears past the Rockets in Fox Valley Association action.
Grace Danoski picked up the win, pitching seven innings and allowing four hits, one unearned run and four walks while striking out five.
Neenah scored its lone run in the seventh.
Libby Jahnke was 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Rockets.
Appleton North 7, Appleton West 0
APPLETON – The visiting Lightning scored two in the first, one in the third, one in the fourth and three in the seventh en route to the Fox Valley Association win.
Ali Raddatz led the Terrors with two hits.
Seymour 2, Fox Valley Lutheran 1
SEYMOUR – The Thunder plated two runs in the first and made it stand up en route to the Bay Conference victory.
Kendra Rettler had the hot bat for Seymour, going 3-for-4 with a homer and one RBI. Alexis Corn also drove in one run.
Rettler earned the win in the circle, going seven innings and allowing six hits and one earned run while walking zero and striking out eight.
Fox Valley Lutheran scored its lone run in the third.
Xavier 8, New London 3
NEW LONDON – The Hawks scored five times in their last two at-bats to pull away for the Bay Conference win.
Kalia Stammer led Xavier, going 3-for-4 with a double, home run and four RBIs. Also leading the Hawks were Abby Ourada, Morgan Staszak, Anna Vanden Heuvel and Madeline Faulkner, all with two hits.
Xavier scored three in the first, three in the sixth and two in the seventh.
The Bulldogs got their runs with one in the third, fifth and seventh.
Brooklyn Hull-Riggs drove in two runs to lead New London.
Little Chute 7, Waupaca 3
LITTLE CHUTE – A five-run sixth propeled the Mustangs past the Comets in North Eastern Conference play.
Waupaca led 1-0 after one, but Little Chute grabbed a 2-1 edge in the fourth. The Comets retook the lead at 3-2 in the top of the sixth, setting up the Mustangs’ big comeback.
Abigail Zouski paced the Little Chute offense, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Josie Kerrigan and Madalyn Bork had two hits each.
Bella Pfrang picked up the win in the circle, pitching seven innings and allowing nine hits, two runs (one earned) with one walk and five strikeouts.
Lily Cichy had the hot bat for Waupaca, going 3-for-3 with a double, while Hailey Bechard was 2-for-2 with a double.
Wrightstown 8, Marinette 3
WRIGHTSTOWN – The Tigers erased an early two-run deficit en route to the North Eastern Conference win.
Marinette led 2-0 after one, but Wrightstown answered with two in the second and four in the third. The Marines closed to within 6-3 after four, but the Tigers closed out the scoring with two in the sixth.
Molly Ruebl led Wrightstown, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs.
Sophia Garcia earned the win in the circle, pitching seven innings and allowing 10 hits, three earned runs and three walks while striking out three.
Barrett Cole was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, while Bella Koenigs was 2-for-2 for Marinette.
Clintonville 20, Oconto Falls 13
OCONTO FALLS – The Truckers scored 10 times in the top of the seventh to rally for the North Eastern Conference win.
Payton Johnson was 4-for-5 with a double, while Abby Tate was 3-for-3 with a double and home run to help power Clintonville. Morgan Retzlaff, Claire Papendorf, Lil Reindl and Caitlyn Prue had two hits each for the Truckers. One of Retzlaff’s hits was a triple, while Papendorf and Prue had two doubles each.
After both teams scored two in the first, the Panthers grabbed a 7-2 lead after two. Clintonville closed to within 8-4 after three and 9-6 after four. Both teams scored four times in the fifth, setting up the Truckers’ big comeback.
Brillion 5, Valders 1
BRILLION – Amaya Brooks was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs en route to the Eastern Wisconsin Conference win.
Kara Hedrich added two hits and an RBI for the Lions.
Jocelyn Tamm earned the win in the circle, pitching seven innings and allowing four hits, one earned run and three walks while striking out five.
Brillion scored once in the first and twice in the third and fourth innings before Valders closed out the scoring with one run in the sixth.
Chilton 13, Manitowoc Roncalli 0
CHILTON – Reegan Woodard was 3-for-3 with a homer and five RBIs and pitcher Macey Schneider pitched five innings of no-hit ball as the Tigers rolled past the Jets in Eastern Wisconsin Conference play.
Chilton scored two in the first, four in the second, five in the third and two in the fourth.
Lauren Roehrig was 3-for-4 with a double and a triple, while Schneider walked one and struck out eight.
Manitowoc Lutheran 4, Hilbert 1
MANITOWOC – The Lancers built a four-run lead and held off a late Wolves rally for the Big East Conference win.
Manitowoc Lutheran scored one in the first, two in the third and one in the fifth.
Hilbert scored one in the seventh.
Brylie Zirbel led the Lancers with two hits, including a double and a triple, while Hayden Svatek was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Svatek also earned the win in the circle, pitching seven innings, allowing four hits, one earned run and one walk while striking out nine.
Mishicot 12, St. Mary Catholic 0
MISHICOT – Cooper Brouchaud was 2-for-4 with a double, a grand slam home run and four RBIs as Mishicot cruised past the Zephrys for the five-inning Big East Conference victory.
Lexi Thor earned the win in the circle, pitching five innings, allowing two hits while striking out t/hree. She also hit a three-run home run.
Eva Boness, Nevaeh Malchek and Lily Trochil had two hits each for Mishicot.
SMC got two hits from Sammi Weiss.
Iola-Scandinavia 9, Shiocton 4
IOLA – The Thunderbirds rallied from an early three-run deficit to post the Central Wisconsin Conference-East victory.
Iola-Scandinavia trailed 4-1 after three innings but scored six runs in the fourth inning and added a run in both the fifth and sixth innings.
The bottom third of the Iola-Scandinavia lineup of Rayanne Clendenning, Ava Printz and Katie Rosenthal had six of the team’s 12 hits. Clendenning had three hits, including a double and a triple, and had three RBIs. Printz, Braelyn Jueds and Brylee Jueds had two hits apiece. Printz and Braelyn Jueds each had a double and Brylee Jueds had a triple. Rosenthal and Brooklyn Berrens both doubled.
In the circle, Clendenning went the distance to earn the win. Clendenning allowed four walks and had five strikeouts.
The T-Birds improved their conference record to 6-3 and 11-3 overall.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 12, Manawa 1
MANAWA – Kendall Lex limited the Wolves to three hits and one unearned run en route to the Central Wisconsin Conference win.
Lex pitched six innings, walking one and striking out four.
Rory Salvesen was 4-for-4 with one triple, two RBIs and four runs scored.
Chloe Hanson, Jayda Moenke and Kennedy Benbo had three hits each for the Chargers.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood scored two in the first, three in the third, three in the fourth and four in the sixth.
Manawa scored its run in the fifth.
Bonduel 15, Weyauwega-Fremont 0
BONDUEL – The Bears scored 15 first-inning runs en route to the Central Wisconsin Conference win.
Jalyn Loehrke, Meredith Kiedrowski and Riley Wilbur each had hits for the Warhawks.
Stevens Point 11, Kimberly 1 (Wednesday)
KIMBERLY – Abbi Grabow limited the Papermakers to two hits to pitch the Panthers to a five-inning nonconference win.
Grabow walked one and struck out one.
SPASH scored five runs in the second inning and three in the third to take a 9-1 lead.
SPASH got home runs from Lacey Bellinger, Callie Diekhus and Addi Peskie. Allison Hintz added three hits and two RBIs, and Sophia Abundiz had two hits and two RBIs.
Sophie Hermus and Paige Schreck had the hits for Kimberly, including a double for Schreck.
Kimberly 19, Freedom 0 (Wednesday)
KIMBERLY – The Papermakers scored nine runs in the first inning and 10 in the second inning in the three-inning victory over the Irish.
Payton Schreiber had two home runs, finished with three hits and drove in six runs for Kimberly. Nevaeh Honick had two hits and two RBIs, Sammi Hank drove in three runs, and Chloe Biese and Rylin Deering each drove in two runs.
Kendra Ruys pitched two innings and Sophia Kattestad pitched one inning for Kimberly. They didn’t allow a hit.

OSHKOSH – Lily Werner, Ashlyn Krueger and Ali Vander Wielen scored goals for the Papermakers in the Fox Valley Association win over the Spartans.
Kaylee Behnke and Vada Sousek had assists for Kimberly.
Luxemburg-Casco 1, Waupaca 1
LUXEMBURG – The Spartans got a goal in the first half from Emi Kuhn with the Comets knotting the game with a goal in the second half.
Kilee Barbiaux had an assist on Kuhn’s goal for Luxemburg-Casco.
Olivia Kneer scored the game-tying goal on a direct free kick in the 73rd minute.
Teagan Gunderson had two saves for Luxemburg-Casco.
Jennah Haesig had seven saves for Waupaca.

The Polar Bears had one first-place finish, three second-place finishes and three third-place finishes in individual events. They also won the 800-meter relay and had a second-place finish in the 3,200 relay and third-place finishes in the 400- and 1,600-meter relays.
Abram Daniels won the high jump for Hortonville at a height of 6-0.
Colton Peters won the hurdles events, taking the 110-meter hurdles with a time of :14.81 and the 300 hurdles with a time of :41.05. Hunter DeHart picked up a pair of first-place finishes, winning the shot put and discus with a put of 60-5 and a throw of 160-2, respectively.
Menasha’s Marquell Brown had a pair of first-place finishes, winning the triple jump with a jump of 43-7 and the 200-meter dash with a time of :23.02.

Hortonville also won the 3,200-meter relay with a time of 11:03.60.

Denmark swept the four relay events and had four individual first-place finishes to take first in the meet.
Ella Denor won the 100- and 200-meter dashes for Denmark with times of :12.17 and :25.86, respectively. Ella Ovsak won the 400 with a time of 1:05.97. Addison Kane was Denmark’s final individual champion, winning the long jump with a jump of 15-10.
Chilton’s Erica Davis won the shot put with a toss of 33-5.5 and the discus with a throw of 117-0. Maddie Mertz won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles with times of :16.65 and :49.64, respectively.
Wrightstown’s Katerina Hruska won the high jump at a height of 5-0 and the triple jump with a jump of 34-0.

Carter Barrington won the 300 hurdles with a time of :42.62.

New London’s Ayden Smith was best in the shot put with a toss of 41-1.5.
Waupaca’s Sage Soto won the 300 hurdles with a time of :50.26.
