Smash Into Spring
The Heart of Wisconsin Pickleball Association will host a Smash Into Spring mixer from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 24 at SentryWorld, 601 Michigan Ave. N. in Stevens Point. The mixer event offers a relaxed and rotating format for people to play pickleball at all skill levels. Guests can meet new partners, play short games and more. Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Department of Music Opera Outreach will host Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? at 4 p.m. April 25 at The Opera House, 1136 Main St. in Stevens Point. The performance will be a short, engaging and family-friendly opera adaptation set to Mozart music, featuring Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs and the Boy Who cried Wolf come together to teach the Big Bad Wolf how to be a friend. The program aims to foster a sense of creativity, community and adaptability to students and to make opera accessible to everyone. CLASP Color Run
Child Life Association of Stevens Point will host a CLASP Color Run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 26 at Iverson Park, 4601 State 66 in Stevens Point. The event will raise money and awareness for the Child Life Team at Marshfield Clinic and its programs that support children and families during hospital stays. A bubble run will start at 3 p.m., and a color run will start at 4 p.m. for guests to run, walk, donate or cheer from the sidelines.
