ASHWAUBENON – The Jaguars scored four runs in the second, three in the third, one in the fifth and one in the sixth as they outlasted the Redbirds in Fox River Classic Conference play.
De Pere scored its runs with three in the sixth.
Grace Aichele earned the win in the circle, pitching six innings and allowing three earned runs and one walk while striking out five.
Lexi Bernath paced the Ashwaubenon offense, going 2-for-3 with a double, home run and two RBIs. Also registering two hits each were Brynn Wirth and Addison Allen.
Payton Spaeth had three hits for the Redbirds, while Micah Zirbel and Siena Arendt added doubles.
Green Bay Preble 15, Green Bay Southwest 0
GREEN BAY – The Hornets downed the Trojans in a three-inning Fox River Classic Conference matchup.
Tenley Kuehn pitched a complete game, allowing one hit. At the plate, Kuehn was 2-for-2 with a triple and a home run. Hannah Von Haden also had two hits and four RBIs for the Hornets.
Amy Lopez-Mejia recorded the lone hit for the Trojans.
Notre Dame 9, Manitowoc Lincoln 8
GREEN BAY – The Tritons scored three runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to rally past the Ships in Fox River Classic Conference action.
Notre Dame led 3-2 after two and 5-3 after four, but Manitowoc scored four times in the fifth to take the lead. After the Tritons retook the lead, the Ships scored one in the seventh, setting up Notre Dame’s heroics.
Kaia Waldrop led the Tritons, going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Also adding two hits each were Addyson Simpson, Brynn Broekman and Olivia Waldrop.
Allison Seidl was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to lead Manitowoc. Hayden Erdmann and Sam Raymaker added two hits each for the Ships.
Pulaski 17, Sheboygan North 2
PULASKI – With the game tied 1-1 after one, the Red Raiders poured it on from there, scoring 10 times in the second and six in the third to earn the Fox River Classic Conference win.
Kamrie Dorn and Kennedy Nowak had two hits each for Pulaski, while Molly Molthen and Hailey Bohm both tripled and Eiley Pierquet doubled.
Seymour 13, Xavier 1
APPLETON – The Thunder scored in all but one inning en route to the Bay Conference win.
Seymour scored one in the first and second, two in the third, three in the fifth, one in the sixth and five in the seventh.
The Hawks scored their lone run in the fifth.
Kendra Rettler powered the Thunder with four hits, including one double, one homer and four RBIs.
Kaylee Rettler added three hits and two RBIs, while Adde Smith had two hits and three RBIs and Aryah Krahn added two hits, including a double, and one RBI.
Abby Ourada had a hit and an RBI for Xavier.
Fox Valley Lutheran 22, Shawano 2
SHAWANO – Natalie Bromm drove in seven runs on four hits to lead Fox Valley Lutheran to the Bay Conference win.
Bromm hit an inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning to score three runs, hit a two-run double in the second, an RBI double in the third and drew a bases-loaded walk.
Madison Babcock earned the win, striking out four and walking none. Paige Leavitt pitched three innings in relief for the Foxes. She gave up three hits and one run, while striking out one and walking none.
Kadence Meyers took the loss for Shawano. The starting pitcher went three innings, surrendering 10 runs (five earned) on nine hits, striking out two and walking none.
FVL amassed 18 hits in the game as Leavitt, Claire Pfrang, Babcock and Tenley Wolfrath each collected multiple hits.
Kadence Meyers and Jacey Cowden each drove in one run for Shawano.
Luxemburg-Casco 12, Little Chute 0
LITTLE CHUTE – Alayna Deprez was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Rylan Kaminski was 2-for-3 with a double, home run and four RBIs as the Spartans cruised past the Mustangs in North Eastern Conference action.
Claire Schleis was also 2-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBIs for Luxemburg-Casco.
The Spartans scored one run in the first, six in the second, two in the fourth and three in the fifth.
Jasmine Jandrin earned the win in the circle, pitching five innings and allowing three hits and two walks while striking out 10.
Denmark 7, Freedom 3
FREEDOM – The Vikings scored two runs in the first, one in the fourth and four in the seventh to outlast the Irish.
Freedom scored two runs in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Shae Kraschnewski pitched 5⅔ innings to get the win. She allowed two hits, one run (unearned), walked two and struck out two.
Kraschnewski, Kylee Kersten and Maggie Frank each had two hits for Denmark. Kersten hit a home run, and Vanny Umentum and Kersten each drove in two runs.
Brooke Sowinski led the Irish with two hits, including a double, while Kourtney Moeller added a double and two RBIs.
Tigerton 11, Green Bay NEW Lutheran 0
TIGERTON – The Tigers scored six runs in the third, three in the fourth and two in the fifth to earn the nonconference win.
Hailey Erdmann led Tigerton, going 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Also adding two hits each were Danika Tiller and Lillian Welch.
Crivitz 2, Algoma 1
CRIVITZ – Taryn Tracy allowed four hits, one earned run and two walks while striking out seven to lead the Wolverines past the Wolves in nonconference action.
Crivitz plated two runs in the third with Tracy driving in both runners.
Algoma scored its run in the sixth.
Coleman 5, Wausaukee 3
WAUSAUKEE – The Cougars scored two in the first, one in the third and two in the sixth to earn the Marinette & Oconto Conference victory.
Wausaukee scored two in the fourth and one in the seventh.
Makenzie Nowak, Macy Nowak, Trina Wendt, Ella Wyss and Alyssa Kurth all had two hits to power Coleman.
Coreen Schroeder had two hits, while Morgan Verhagen added a double to lead the Rangers.
Bonduel 7, Kewaunee 3
BONDUEL – The Bears scored three runs in the first and four in the second and held off the Storm from there to earn the nonconference win.
Kewaunee scored single runs in the first, second and third.
Haley Conradt and Allison Zernicke had two hits each to power Bonduel. Maddie Hert pitched three innings for the Bears, striking out seven.
The Storm was led by Breanna Riha, who doubled.
Menominee Nation 17, Weyauwega-Fremont 10
WEYAUWEGA – The Eagles outlasted the Warhawks in a Central Wisconsin Conference slugfest.
Menominee Nation scored two in the first, two in the third, four in the fourth, three in the fifth, one in the sixth and five in the seventh.
Weyauwega-Fremont scored one in the second, two in the fourth, three in the sixth and four in the seventh.
Gloriana Wayka had the hot bat for the Eagles, going 5-for-5 with three RBIs and four runs scored. Cecilia Grignow was 2-for-6 with an RBI and three runs scored, while Natalie Peters added a triple and two RBIs for Menominee Nation.
Green Bay Preble 10, West Bend West 2 (Monday)
GREEN BAY – Tenley Kuehn threw a complete game, giving up one earned run, to lead the Hornets to the nonconference win.
Kuehn also had three hits at the plate and drove in two runs.
Camille Konkol, Gracie Day and Maya Darmawan each recorded two hits and two RBIs for Preble.
Luxemburg-Casco 11, Kewaunee 4 (Monday)
KEWAUNEE – The Spartans scored six runs in the third inning in the nonconference win over the Storm.
Alayna Deprez and Stella Schleis each drove in four runs for the Spartans, who finished with 12 hits.
Jasmine Jandrin earned the win for Luxemburg-Casco. She allowed three hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Baylee Wypiszenski pitched four innings in relief for Luxemburg-Casco.
London Karnopp and Brianna Riha hit solo home runs for Kewaunee. Riha went 4-for-4 and drove in three runs.
BASEBALL
West De Pere 2, De Pere 0
DE PERE – Logan Wierzba locked down the visiting Redbirds as the Phantoms earned the Fox River Classic Conference win.
Wierzba pitched all seven innings, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out 17.
Lali Delgado led the West De Pere offense, going 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
Ryland Nowak pitched six innings for De Pere. He allowed two hits, one earned run and struck out four.
Bay Port 12, Sheboygan North 2
SHEBOYGAN – Carson Hawley struck out 10 batters in 4 2/3 innings to pitch the Pirates to the Fox River Classic Conference win over the Golden Raiders.
Hawley allowed six hits and two runs.
Tommy Berg had two hits and two RBIs for Bay Port. Ethan Orlando had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs. Cayden Heier also had a double and two RBIs.
Ashwaubenon 23, Green Bay Southwest 0
ASHWAUBENON – The Jaguars made short work of the Trojans to earn the Fox River Classic Conference win.
Ashwaubenon scored eight runs in the first, four in the second, nine in the third and two in the fourth.
Owen Amenson was 2-for-2 with four RBIs, Kingston Vang was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs, Ian Justman was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs, and Moxson Kernz was 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs for the Jaguars.
Anthony Mosher doubled and added three RBIs for Ashwaubenon.
Manitowoc Lincoln 5, Green Bay Preble 3
GREEN BAY – The Ships built a 5-0 lead before holding off the Hornets for the Fox River Classic Conference win.
Turner Sorenson and Nick Braun both drove in two runs for Manitowoc.
Will VanBoxel had three hits and two RBIs for Preble.
Bennett Johnson started and went five innings for Manitowoc to get the win.
Jackson Zegers took the loss for Preble.
Pulaski 4, Notre Dame 0
PULASKI – The Red Raiders’ Eli Hauser and Gabe VerGiesen combined on a five-hitter to shut out the Tritons.
Hauser pitched the first 6⅔ innings, giving up the five hits while striking out eight to get the win. VerGiesen got the final out of the game.
Logan Clauss and Brayden Wiedeman both had doubles for Pulaski.
Tyler Siudzinski and Kyan Redling each had two hits for Notre Dame.
Tritons pitcher Ty Bumgardner pitched six innings, allowed one hit and struck out 10.
Wrightstown 8, Freedom 5
WRIGHTSTOWN – The Tigers notched 11 hits in the North Eastern Conference win over the Irish.
Michael Besel had three hits for Wrightstown, while Bennett Stengel and Rogan Thompson both had two hits. Theo Van Rossum had a solo home run, his first career homer.
Thompson pitched four innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on four walks and two hits to get the win for Wrightstown.
Carlton Romitti had two hits and an RBI for Freedom. Luke Schmidt added two RBIs, and Chase Calmes hit a double.
Little Chute 3, Luxemburg-Casco 0
LITTLE CHUTE – The Mustangs scored twice in the first inning and once in the third to defeat the Spartans in a North Eastern Conference game.
Jaden Hermsen had an RBI single in the first inning for Little Chute. Gerrit Wittman had an RBI single in the third inning.
Wittman and Trevor Verhagen each had two hits for the Mustangs.
Hermsen earned the win for Little Chute. He allowed three hits and no runs in 5⅔ innings, striking out nine and walking four.
Gavin Lax started, went five innings and took the loss for Luxemburg-Casco.
Marinette 10, Sturgeon Bay 3
MARINETTE – The Marines took a 7-0 lead through three innings and went on to defeat the Clippers.
Chase MacGregor had a double, a home run and drove in two runs for Marinette. Ryker Maye also drove in two runs for Marinette. Sawyer Walters had a pair of hits.
MacGregor pitched the first five innings for Marinette to get the win. He allowed three runs on five walks and four hits while striking out seven.
Jack Higginbotham went 3-for-4 at the plate for Sturgeon Bay.
Oconto Falls 1, Waupaca 0
OCONTO FALLS – Teagan Tate pitched seven innings of one-hit ball, striking out six, as the Panthers downed the Comets in North Eastern Conference play.
Teagan Tate was 1-for-3 with an RBI, while Logan Berg was 1-for-2 with a run scored and one stolen base.
John Zeamer led Waupaca, going 1-for-3.
Carson Jameson took the loss, pitching six innings, while allowing five hits and one earned run, while striking out two.
Denmark 13, Clintonville 2
DENMARK – The Vikings scored six times in both the second and third innings in their win over the Truckers.
Denmark had only five hits but took advantage of nine Clintonville walks. Caden Kersten had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Braedon Heezen drove in two runs.
Clintonville got two hits from Conner MaGee, Zach Johnson and Rogan Schertz.
Caden Peterson got the win for Denmark.
Seymour 8, Shawano 2
SEYMOUR – The Thunder took a 3-1 lead in the first inning on its way to the win over the Hawks.
Seymour, which had 10 hits, got three hits from both Cayden Staffeldt and Xavier Salzman. Romy Oskey had a double and drove in three runs. Salzman drove in two runs.
Salzman pitched four innings and got the win for Seymour. Brayden Banker pitched the final three innings.
Winneconne 14, Green Bay East 0
WINNECONNE – The Wolves scored nine runs in the first inning and tacked on three more in the second in cruising past the Red Devils.
Green Bay East had three hits and committed four errors. Two pitchers also walked six batters.
Coleman 4, Menomonie, MI 2
MENOMONIE, Mich. – Miles Lewis was 2-for-4 as the Cougars used a two-run third to break a 1-1 tie en route to the nonconference win.
Coleman tacked on a seventh-inning run to seal the victory.
Matt Tedtman added the Cougars’ lone RBI.
Bonduel 11, Southern Door 1
BRUSSELS – The Bears broke open a close game late with two in the fifth and six in the sixth en route to the nonconference win.
Collin Everard was 3-for-3 with a run scored, while Will Price was 2-for-3 to lead the Eagles.
Niagara 4, St. Thomas Aquinas 0
NIAGARA – The Badgers scored four times in the third inning in their win over the Cavaliers.
Remington Buchanan pitched a complete game for Niagara. He allowed one hit and one walk while striking out five.
Reid Schroeder had two doubles for Niagara.
Weyauwega-Fremont 25, Menominee Nation 15
WEYAUWEGA – The Warhawks trailed 12-11 when they scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to break the game open in their win over the Eagles.
Weyauwega-Fremont had 12 hits, while Menominee Nation had five.
Caleb Grignon had two hits, including a double, for Menominee Nation. Craig Penass had two hits, including a double, and drove in four runs.
Sevastopol 10-6, Peshtigo 2-2
STURGEON BAY – The Pioneers pounded out 12 hits and scored three runs in the first inning, two in the second, three in the fourth and two in the fifth in their win over the Bulldogs in the first game of the doubleheader sweep.
Andrew Wiesner pitched six innings to get the win. He allowed two hits, two runs, walked two and struck out nine.
Six players finished with two hits for Sevastopol. Wiesner drove in three runs, while Logan Schuh and Reid LeClair each had two RBIs.
Peshtigo’s two hits were doubles by Vin Paoli and Ethan LaComb.
Chase Haberli had three hits, all doubles, and drove in a run for Sevastopol in the second game. Bo Tanck added two hits, including a double, and Wiesner drove in two runs.
Hortonville 10, West De Pere 0 (Monday)
HORTONVILLE – Gary Wuest had three hits and drove in five runs to power the Polar Bears to the nonconference win over the Phantoms.
Wuest singled in the first inning to score two runs, doubled in the second to score two and singled in the third to score one.
Isaac Behnke earned the win for Hortonville. The starter surrendered zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out two and walking three.
Waupaca 13, Wrightstown 3 (Monday)
WRIGHTSTOWN – The Comets scored three runs in the first inning and four in the second inning to build a 7-0 lead in the five-inning victory over the Tigers.
Jay Card was 3-for-3, including a double, with three runs scored and five RBIs for Waupaca. Ollie Waller and Dougie Williams each had two hits and an RBI. Reed Rogers added a double and two RBIs.
Anikan Stern pitched a complete game to get the win. He allowed five hits, three earned runs, walked two and struck out five.
Theo Van Rossum had two hits and an RBI for Wrightstown. Van Rossum had a triple and Rogan Thompson had a double.
Escanaba, MI 7, Marinette 6 (Monday)
MARINETTE – The Marines had 11 hits but fell short in the nonconference loss.
Wyatt Stauss, Miles Rutherford, Cooper Smith and Ryker Maye each collected two hits for Marinette. Smith had two RBIs.
Crivitz 8, Lena 3 (Monday)
LENA – The Wolverines scored six runs in the top of the sixth inning in the victory over the Wildcats.
Both teams finished with four hits.
Colten Tarmann had two hits and two RBIs for Crivitz. JJ Brand added a double and an RBI.
Bryce Schneider had a double for Lena.
Jackson Schramm pitched 5⅓ innings to get the win. He allowed three hits, one run, walked five and struck out 10.
GIRLS SOCCER
Green Bay Preble 1, Sheboygan North 0
GREEN BAY – Kate Reckinger scored a first-half goal off an assist from Samantha Thompson and the Hornets made it stand up as Preble earned the Fox River Classic Conference win.
Alaina Pranica made five saves in net for the Hornets.
Luxemburg-Casco 2, Wrightstown 0
LUXEMBURG – Emi Kuhn scored a pair of goals to lead the Spartans past the Tigers in North Eastern Conference action.
Casidee Jacobson added an assist.
Teagan Gunderson made five saves in net for Luxemburg-Casco.
Manitowoc Lutheran 7, Kewaunee 0
MANITOWOC – The Lancers scored four goals in the first half en route to the nonconference win.
Ava Glodowski led Manitowoc Lutheran with two goals.
Pulaski 8, Menasha 0 (Monday)
MENASHA – Kara Barber scored two goals for the Red Raiders (2-1-1) in the nonconference win over the Bluejays.
Anya Hasser and Ruth Krause both had one goal and two assists. Other goals were scored by Estella Vieaux, Caitlyn Burkel, Sydney Kunstman and Elizabeth Dornfeld.
Lucia Di Gennaro had one save in goal for Pulaski and Tatum Wentland had zero saves in the combined shutout.
