Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that left a 23 year old dead and a 19 year old hospitalized on June 19.
The shooting occurred around 6:10 a.m. on the 5000 block of North Hopkins Street, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation, and police are searching for unknown suspects.
There are have been 62 homicides this year through mid-June compared to 57 during the same timeframe in 2024, according to a MPD database.
