Milwaukee police say an 18-year-old was stabbed to death in broad daylight near the Mitchell Park Domes.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the stabbing.
In a statement, Milwaukee police said they are investigating the matter as a homicide.
The incident occurred Sept. 29, around 2:20 p.m., on the 800 block of South 22nd Street, in the shadows of the Domes at 524 S. Layton Blvd.
Police said in the statement the suspect stabbed the victim during an argument. It was not immediately clear what started the argument.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, police said in the statement.
As of Sept. 28, there have been 109 homicides reported in Milwaukee so far in 2025. During the same period in 2024, 101 killings had been reported in the city, according to Milwaukee police statistics.
