The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a woman shot and killed by a Highway Patrol trooper on Monday was from Wichita Falls.
The agency identified the woman as Berkleigh Jade Bond, 39.
A news release said the shooting happened just after 8 a.m. on westbound Interstate Highway 10 near Benson, Arizona, which is about 50 miles east of Tucson.
The agency offered no other details on the incident.
