United Regional Health Care System continued the tradition of welcoming the first baby born in the new year.
For 2026, the honor goes to Bronson Havens, who got an early start to life and the New Year at 5:48 a.m. on Thursday, according to a URHCS media release.
Bronson is the son of Britanny Douglas and Robb Havens, who received gifts from the hospital for having the first arrival of the year.
“There’s no better way to begin the New Year than holding our son in our arms. He’s already made this year unforgettable,” the new parents said in a statement.
