Who wins it all? CFP odds, predictions for every matchup

Following a chaotic and controversial bracket unveiling by the CFP Selection Committee on Sunday, preparations for this year’s playoff slate are in full steam ahead for the programs involved.

That includes the Texas A&M Aggies, who ended the regular season one game shy of reaching their first SEC Championship. The 27-17 loss to the Texas Longhorns in Austin, Texas, shattered the team’s aspirations and left much to be desired in the days leading up to the release of the final CFP bracket. Now that head coach Mike Elko and company know their fate, a Miami team featuring an experienced quarterback at the helm awaits the Aggies at Kyle Field next Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Group of Five teams, Tulane and James Madison, are looking to silence doubters and prove they can hang with the best college football teams in the country, as they take on Ole Miss and Oregon, respectively. Fans get blessed with a rematch from the battle in T-Town a few weeks ago, as Alabama looks to avenge its loss to Oklahoma by defeating the Sooners in Norman and advancing to the Rose Bowl to play the No. 1 seed Indiana.

The time for talking is almost over, but there is still time to project how each team will perform in their postseason slots. Here are the odds and predictions for each CFP matchup, including the Aggies’ first-round contest against the Hurricanes:
