The college basketball season has hit its climax, as the Final Four in San Antonio is set to begin Saturday with the national semifinals.
The tournament hasn’t been particularly notable so far, but all four semifinalists are No. 1 seeds (Houston, Duke, Florida and Auburn), the first time that’s happened since 2008.
Houston still carries the flag for Texas schools. The Cougars are trying to become the third Texas team to win a national championship, after Texas Western in 1966 and Baylor in 2021.
When is the Final Four?
The semifinals are Saturday evening. Florida takes on Auburn at 4:09 p.m. Mountain/5:09 p.m. local (Central), then Houston plays Duke at 6:49 p.m. Mountain/7:49 local (Central).
