Gamers are in for a treat this week, as the second installment of the “Death Stranding” video game is set for release.
“Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” is an action-adventure video game developed by Kojima Productions. A sequel to the 2019 game “Death Stranding,” the new game continues the story of a futuristic world in which humanity is on the brink of collapse. The cinematic and emotional journey prompts players to navigate treacherous landscapes while facing supernatural phenomena and creating connections to rebuild society in a fractured world. The game combines elements of exploration, narrative depth, cooperation and survival.

What time will Death Stranding 2 launch? See release date
The standard edition of “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” launches on Thursday, June 26, according to the Japanese developer Kojima Productions. At its launch, the video game will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5.
However, those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition by midnight on Tuesday, June 24 can play the new game 48 hours prior. This means players can access the game at 11 p.m. CDT on Monday, June 23. The package also includes a variety of in-game items and pre-order bonus content.
