A 19-year-old was killed in a rollover crash early Thursday in Armstrong County, authorities said.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2010 Hyundai Genesis was traveling east on FM 1151 near County Road 13 at 4:15 a.m. May 7 when, for an unknown reason, it left the roadway.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the Hyundai entered the south ditch, struck a utility pole, and rolled over.

DPS said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected during the crash.

The driver, identified as Diego Ulises Ramirez-Trejo, 19, of Wheeler, died at the scene as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash.

Road conditions were dry, but the weather was cloudy with fog at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation by Texas Highway Patrol.
