A new drive-thru coffee spot is coming to El Paso’s West Side.
7Brew Drive-Thru Coffee, the company behind a spate of new drive-thru shops in El Paso, is a national chain that launched in Rogers, Arkansas, and now boasts dozens of locations across the country, from New York to Alabama, North Carolina to Utah.
The company began with a simple mission to revolutionize drive-thru coffee service. Beginning with only seven specialty coffee drinks, 7Brew now offers a wide variety of coffees, energy drinks, fizzes, teas, lemonades, smoothies and shakes.
Where is it?
The new 7Brew Drive-Thru Coffee location will open at 7940 North Mesa St. in West El Paso, according to the city’s permit and licensing page.
The location is surrounded by businesses, including Hobby Lobby, a Motel 6, McDonald’s, Taco Cabana and the Crossroads Village Shopping Center just across the street.
What was there before?
The new 7Brew Drive-Thru Coffee location is on the site of a former KFC restaurant.
It’s unclear whether the old building will be demolished or renovated — the city’s website only notes that the project includes construction of a new 7Brew.
Who is the contractor?
The city’s website does not list the contractor’s name, but the applicant for the project is Austin Fritts of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The owner is listed as KFC.
The project is valued at $750,000.
