UIL Snapshot Day: What are the 2026-28 enrollment numbers for Wichita Falls area schools

The first step in the UIL’s biennial realignment process starts Friday with the much anticipated Snapshot Day. 

Each UIL-affiliated school in Texas has until Nov. 5 to submit its enrollment number that will be used for realignment in February. And it’s a way for high school sports fans in the state to start drawing conclusions on where teams will be aligned by classification, division and district.

This article will be updated throughout the day with enrollment numbers submitted by Wichita Falls area schools and others that are potential district mates. 

Here are the conference cutoffs from the most recent UIL realignment in 2024:

Class 6A — 2,275 and above

Class 5A — 1,315 to 2,274

Class 4A — 545 to 1,314

Class 3A — 254 to 544

Class 2A — 105 to 253

Class A — 104.9 and below

Here are the football division cutoffs from the most recent UIL realignment in 2024:

Class 5A

Division I — 1,903-2,274

Division I — 1,315-1,902

Class 4A

Division I — 957-1,314

Division II — 546-956

Class 3A

Division I — 369-544

Division II — 253-368

Class 2A

Division I — 181.5-253

Division II — 105-181.4

Class A

Division I — 61.4-104.9

Division II — 61.4 and below
