It will be a busy three days of quarter horse racing at the The Downs At Albuquerque.
The trials for the 400-yard Rainbow Futurity will take place for 3-year-old quarter horses on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27.
The trials for the Rainbow Oaks for only 3-year-old fillies and Rainbow Derby for 3-year-old quarter horses will take place on Sunday, June 28.
Post time on Friday and Saturday is at noon with 15 qualifying trials taking place each day. Sunday’s post time is 1:30 p.m. with four Rainbow Oaks trials and seven Rainbow Derby trials.

Gf Shes Sinful, who won the Ruidoso Derby, will run in Sunday’s Rainbow Oaks trials for trainer Wes Giles and jockey Noe Garcia.
Political Twist returns in Rainbow Derby trials
Political Twist returns as a 3-year-old on Sunday and will run in the Rainbow Derby trials. He runs in the 10th race. In 2025, he won the Ruidoso Futurity and was second in the All-American Futurity.
