Texas Tech alum says Red Raiders must move on from Sorsby | Opinion

I have been watching and bleeding Texas Tech football since 1968.

I have witnessed the regents, athletic director, president, and others ruin multiple seasons for Tech in bad decisions both in the Carlen and Leach eras.

This Sorsby situation is starting to smell like a bunch of dead rats on a sinking ship.

It’s time to bench him and get on with fielding a great team this coming season. We have the quarterbacks to do the job.

It’s hard enough for Tech to win the close, big games without giving the opposition extra incentive.   Who says that wearing the black hat is stronger than the anger of the opposition over breaking rules.

I think Sorsby should see the ramifications of his situation and stand down. How much loyalty to our school could he have other than money?

He has never attended one semester at Tech. I hope the people in charge come to their senses and make the right decision not only for now but our future reputation.
