Texas Longhorns offer 2029 DE Ezarian Fields

Following a busy weekend at Texas Elite Camp, the Longhorns have added a few more prospects to their recruiting list. On Sunday, they offered defensive end Ezarian Fields, a 2029 recruit. Although his collegiate debut is still years away, the Longhorns are making their interest clear early on.

While the Longhorns would get a boost with Fields in the mix, they are not the only program interested in his services. The Texas native has also received offers from LSU, UNLV, Houston, Baylor, Miami, TCU, USC, Arizona, Colorado, SMU, UTSA, and Kentucky. That is not an easy list of schools to go to battle with.

During his brief high school career, Fields has made life difficult for opposing quarterbacks. While he is not ranked at the moment, the fact that some of the nation’s top programs are already entering the mix shows how well he is regarded. For Texas, the focus is now on getting to campus for a visit.

At the moment, the Longhorns do not have a commitment from a player in the 2029 class. However, that does not mean that they haven’t been busy making connections. Steve Sarkisian and his staff have made offers to recruits such as Jairus Ingram, Carlos Lopez, Dylan Thomas, Jamar Branson, and BJ Lafell. Over the next few months, that list should continue to grow.

Over the next few months, Fields will be a player to watch as his recruitment heats up. While the Longhorns are involved with many different players, they have made it known clear early on that Fields is a player to want to have in the mix.
