It wasn’t a spring game, but plenty of Longhorns Nation turned out for the Texas Football Fan Day. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian ran the team through offensive and devensive drills, 7-on-7 and 11-on-11.
Fans got a chance to see all of the recent Longhorns transfers, like Cam Coleman and Hollywood Smothers. They also got a chance to see some of the 2026 recruiting class, those that enrolled early.

Arch Manning, almost 100% after his foot surgery, took snaps in both the offensive drills and the 7-on-7. Without lineman, Manning threw several good passes, connecting with super transfer Cam Coleman a few times including a dig route where Manning threaded the needle between corner Kade Phillips and linebacker Justin Cryer for a would-be touchdown. Manning made another clutch throw to Coleman on an out route, but then missed on a fade to Ryan Wingo.
As with many intrasquad scrimmages, the defense was ahead of the offense, even with a new defensive coordinator in Will Muschamp.
