Texas A&M forward signs Exhibit 10 contract with Cleveland Cavaliers

Texas A&M basketball’s captain and All-SEC Third Team selection has agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rashaun Agee will begin his professional hoops career with the Cavs in the NBA Summer League in July and look to make the franchise’s G-League roster, after not being selected in the 2026 NBA Draft. The powerful forward was the anchor of Bucky McMillan’s 2025-26 squad, leading the Aggies in scoring, rebounds and blocks. Agee transferred to Texas A&M last season, following stints with USC, Bowling Green and New Mexico.

At 6-foot-6, 263 pounds and boasting a 7’1″ wingspan, the forward from Chicago left his mark on the Aggies’ basketball program by becoming the all-time season leader in double-doubles.

Agee played in all 34 of Texas A&M’s games in his graduate season, becoming one of the most prolific forwards in the Southeastern Conference. He averaged 16.2 points and 9.3 rebounds in league play, while also ranking second in the SEC with 13 total double-doubles.

His five 20-point performances helped lead the Aggies to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to No. 2 seed Houston. In Texas A&M’s first-round win over Saint Mary’s, Agee led the team with 22 points and nine rebounds.

The Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, non-guaranteed NBA contract with a minimum salary. It is used to invite players to compete for roster spots, including on G-League squads. His physicality, on-court presence and ability to finish make him an intriguing prospect to watch entering the Summer League next month, as he battles to make the Cavs roster and work his way up the NBA’s developmental system.
