While Texas A&M football is locked in on building a strong foundation in Year 2 of head coach Mike Elko’s tenure, recruiting for the future is vital. That’s where the classes of 2026 and beyond come in.
NIL has become a crucial part of the equation, and Texas A&M is one of college football’s top-tier programs, able to offer six figures in compensation, or more, to high-profile players. A&M’s athletes brought in $19.4 million in NIL deals, according to information provided to KBTX via an open records request, further driving home A&M’s ability to recruit top-end talent.
The Aggies also have one of the country’s largest alumni bases, largest stadiums, and many unique traditions. Elko and his staff will look to get an early jump on future prospects after pulling in the eighth-ranked class of the 2025 recruiting cycle.
