Texans 2026 NFL Draft recap: Pick-by-pick analysis

As the Houston Texans look to finally move on from the divisional round woes, one has to ask what else could be added to the roster?

The Texans have been one of the more talented crews in the NFL, with most of the talent coming via the NFL draft. While general manager Nick Caserio might struggle evaluating offensive line talent, he has been at the forefront of deals key prospects, including All-Pro defensive end Will Anderson Jr., All-Pro cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., Pro Bowl defensive backs Kamari Lassiter and Calen Bullock, do-it-all defender Jalen Pitre, Pro Bowl receiver Nico Collins and quarterback C.J. Stroud.

Entering Thursday night, the Texans have eight picks, including the 28th overall selection. Most of those picks will bounce around since everyone knows Caserio is a wiz when it comes to making deals and doesn’t shy away from trying to land his players.

That seems to be the case with the moves made over the weekends.

Follow along with Texans Wire throughout draft weekend as we react to the deals and grade each pick as they come in, including the moves made during the undrafted free agent market:
