With high school volleyball underway, Amarillo Globe-News readers have voted Kelton senior McKinzi McManus as the area’s Preseason Volleyball Player of the Year.
McManus received 55.1% of all votes cast in the poll, presented by Happy State Bank.
The high school volleyball regular season kicked off on Monday, Aug. 10, and the season has already seen multiple players from the Texas Panhandle achieve career milestones. Perryton senior Tana Williams reached 1,000-career assists while Randall sophomore Chloe Brown notched 500-career kills.
