Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant is continuing to work on his game heading into his 19th NBA season. In a recent video, Durant was seen working out with one of the NBA’s bright young stars, Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic.
The duo were filmed working through many drills, most of which included mid-range jumpers off the dribble or in the low post. This is a move that Durant has perfected over the years, as his jump shots have always been difficult to defend considering his extension and 7’4″ wingspan.
Shooting is certainly an area of emphasis for Banchero, who shot 35.5% from 10-14 feet last season and just 30.5% from beyond the arc. Although it’s unlikely considering his age (37), perhaps Durant learned a thing or two from the Duke alum about driving and finishing at the rim.
