Ranking all 16 SEC baseball stadiums from first to worst

While there aren’t many places that can beat a fall Saturday in the SEC, the passionate fans, elite facilities and talented baseball programs throughout the conference create some of the rowdiest environments in the country during the spring.

The experience of stepping into any of the college baseball cathedrals in the league is difficult to describe in just a few sentences. Cowbells, bubbles and beer showers are just a few traditions fans can expect to witness while watching elite baseball action.

Those aspects draw fans from across the country to visit these stadiums, whether their goal is to root for the home team or cheer against a bitter rival. The SEC holds nearly all college baseball attendance records, with Mississippi State owning all of the top 25 single-game attendance marks.

With super regionals set to begin this weekend at three of these conference cathedrals, here are the SEC’s baseball stadiums ranked from best to worst.

1. Dudy Noble Field – Mississippi State

Capacity: 15,000

Attendance record: 16,423 (April 15, 2023 vs. Ole Miss)

From cowbells echoing across the berms to the smell of barbecue wafting from the grills in the left field lounge, no college baseball environment in the country tops “The Dude.”

2. Baum-Walker Stadium – Arkansas

Capacity: 11,121

Attendance record: 13,472 vs. (March 3, 2018 vs. USC)

Baum-Walker Stadium is consistently packed with some of the most passionate college baseball fans in America. The elite facilities, massive crowds and Razorback faithful calling the Hogs create an electric factory in Fayetteville, Arkansas, every weekend.

3. Alex Box Stadium – LSU

Capacity: 12,154

Attendance record: 13,376 (April 26, 2025 vs. Tennessee)

LSU baseball is synonymous with success. Historically, the Tigers are one of the premier programs in the country, helping to create an intense atmosphere in Death Valley. It would not be an appropriate rankings list without Alex Box Stadium being in the top three.

4. Swayze Field – Ole Miss

Capacity: 12,152

Attendance record: 12,503 (April 23, 2022 vs. Mississippi State)

The members of Rebel Nation who attend baseball games aren’t called the “Swayze Crazies” for no reason. Beer showers following home runs and Southern tailgating culture at its finest encompass a unique and rowdy college baseball environment in Oxford, Mississippi.

5. Founders Park – South Carolina

Capacity: 8,242

Attendance record: 8,242 (May 21, 2010 vs. Florida)

Recent success on the diamond has been difficult to come by for the Gamecocks, but that doesn’t change the fact that South Carolina has one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country.

6. Condron Family Ballpark – Florida

Capacity: 7,000

Attendance record: 9,303 (March 1, 2025 vs. Miami)

The Gators’ winning pedigree and the modern amenities at one of the newest SEC facilities on this list deserve a spot in the top 10. With no bad seats in the park, Condron Family Ballpark provides one of the most polished game-day experiences in the conference.

7. Blue Bell Park – Texas A&M

Capacity: 6,100

Attendance record: 8,075 (April 13, 2024 vs. Vanderbilt)

The bubbles that fly around Blue Bell Park after a big hit are just one of the many traditions that make it one of the most unique baseball atmospheres in the country.

8. Plainsman Park – Auburn

Capacity: 6,300

Attendance record: 8,228 (June 1, 2026 vs. Milwaukee)

Auburn’s continued improvements to Plainsman Park have enhanced the fan experience. The “Green Monster” in left field and fans watching from the adjacent parking garage help make the Plainsman one of the most picturesque venues in the SEC.

9. Kentucky Proud Park – Kentucky

Capacity: 5,000

Attendance record: 7,558 (June 10, 2024 vs. Oregon State)

Kentucky Proud Park is a relatively new stadium that has helped elevate the Wildcats into the national conversation. While basketball has long dominated the fan base, baseball has experienced a resurgence in Lexington.

10. Foley Field – Georgia

Capacity: 3,633

Attendance record: 4,461 (March 21, 2009 vs. Mississippi State)

It doesn’t get much more historic than Foley Field in Athens, Georgia. While the stadium’s maximum capacity is modest compared to others in the league, unique traditions like Kudzu Hill allow fans and students to enjoy a day at the ballpark.

11. Lindsey Nelson Stadium – Tennessee

Capacity: 8,012

Attendance record: 7,430 (April 18, 2026 vs. Ole Miss)

Tennessee’s recent renovations to Lindsey Nelson Stadium have significantly improved the facility, but the Volunteers are still building a tradition to match some of the SEC’s more established stadiums.

12. UFCU Disch-Falk Field – Texas

Capacity: 7,211

Attendance record: 8,060 (March 5, 2024 vs. Texas A&M)

The turf field is one of the massive downfalls of the Longhorns’ baseball stadium. Texas fans are passionate about baseball, but the stadium is severely lacking any structural charm.

13. Sewell-Thomas Stadium – Alabama

Capacity: 8,500

Attendance record: 6,621 (March 29, 2003 vs. LSU)

Known as “The Joe,” Sewell-Thomas Stadium in T-Town has a solid fan experience, but the lack of cultural success is not close to the other programs in the SEC.

14. Hawkins Field – Vanderbilt

Capacity: 3,700

Attendance record: 3,700 (multiple times)

Vanderbilt is one of college baseball’s premier powerhouse programs, but a limited capacity and a quieter atmosphere, besides the ever-so-slightly annoying “Vandy Whistler,” keep it lower on this list.

15. Kimrey Family Stadium – Oklahoma

Capacity: 3,180

Attendance record: 5,051 (April 12, 2025 vs. Vanderbilt)

The overall look of one of the league’s newer facilities shows promise, but the Sooners still have plenty of work to do before they become an established atmosphere in the league.

16. Taylor Stadium – Missouri

Capacity: 3,331

Attendance record: 3,207 (March 31, 2026 vs. Kansas)

Another turf field, combined with a lackluster baseball program, puts Mizzou at the bottom of this list.
