Here’s a look at the best Week 7 high school football games in the Texas Panhandle.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Dumas (4-1) at Randall (4-1)
7 p.m. Thursday, Happy State Bank Stadium
Dumas and Randall each open District 2-4A Division I play in Week 7 after being off last week.
The Demons have earned consecutive victories since falling to Canadian in a thrilling Week 3 contest, and will look to extend their winning streak to three games Thursday.
Led by talented junior quarterback Colton Mills, Aaron Dunnam’s team has scored at least 35 points in each of its five games this season. Mills is flanked by a talented group of skill position players, including junior running back ZJ Jara, and a physical offensive line.
This week, though, Dumas will meet one of the toughest defensive units it has seen all season, and will need a big performance from Mills and company. Randall has allowed more than 20 points twice during the 2025 campaign, pitching two shutouts along the way.
The Raiders’ only loss of the season came last time Dan Sherwood’s team took the field, as the group fell to Estacado on the road in Week 5. After an open week to regroup, though, Randall has the opportunity to get back on track.
Led by senior quarterback Kaison Benton, the Raiders’ offense will need to compliment Sherwood’s defense and keep pace with Dumas for Randall to start district play with a win.
