Forty-five seniors received their diplomas May 21 as the 2026 graduating class for Premier High School in Wichita Falls, according to a media release from the school.
The ceremony took place at Akin Auditorium at Midwestern State University.
Hailey Cockshutt was recognized as the Valedictorian while Sha’Niyah Taylor was the salutatorian for the largest graduating class in the history of the high school, according to the release.
Sonja Calliste, adjunct nursing professor at Midwestern State University and Walden University, was the speaker.
The media release said this was was the fourth graduating class for the high school, which is one of more than 100 tuition-free public dropout recovery and prevention schools in Texas and Arkansas operated by ResponsiveEd.
