A police officer suffered moderate injuries from a Tuesday morning collision in north Lubbock.
Police officials said the unidentified officer was traveling about 9:30 a.m. through the intersection of Interstate 27 and Erskine when he was struck by another motorist.
The officer was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center.
The other driver did not report any injuries at the time, officials said.
Other information about the circumstances leading to the crash were not immediately clear as an investigation is ongoing.
