PBH hails success of Tee Off for Tatas Golf Tournament

The 6th annual Tee Off for Tatas Golf Tournament, presented by Street Volkswagen, was a tremendous success, bringing together golfers, sponsors and volunteers for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and purpose.

In the First Flight division, the first-place team consisted of Ronnie Tillman, Clint Messer and Jimmie Welch. Second place was awarded to LeAnna Thomas, Adrian Thomas, Coly Whipple and Lisa Hare, while Brandon Samaniego, Nolan Drumm, Jacob Bivens and Charles Chivington earned third-place honors.

In the Second Flight division, first place went to Jeremy Adams, Jeren Adams, Summer Adams and Drew Velasquez. Ronald Benavides, Tommy Monk, Ray Reed and Josh Chavez secured second place, while Cory Harris, Mitch Manuszak, Colt Peterson and Zac Downs finished in third place.

Special contest winners included Stephen McCormick, Closest to the Pin on Hole No. 5; Ray Reed, Closest to the Pin on Hole No. 11; and James Pemberton, Longest Drive on Hole No. 18.

Beyond the competition, this year’s tournament played a vital role in supporting Panhandle Breast Health’s (PBH) mission to prevent breast cancer deaths through education and by removing financial barriers to life-saving screenings. Funds raised from the event will help provide critical infrastructure needed to expand and strengthen these efforts throughout the community.

The success of the tournament would not have been possible without the generosity and dedication of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and golfers. As we celebrate the sixth year of this impactful event, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, talents, and resources to make the tournament a success.

Together, we are helping ensure that more individuals have access to education and the screenings they need for better breast health outcomes.

PBH is a nonprofit organization serving the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.
