Legacy High School cheerleaders worked to help students and other fans show support at the non-district game against the Canyon Randall Raiders.

Students selected for the 2025-2026 varsity cheer team include Sarah Jane Brown, Molly Clark, Kyleigh Cobb, Allie Crow, Daniel Davis, Addison Deleon, Reese Garner, Cheran Hooper, Joy Hugan, Rayanna Jones, Dani Lipscomb, Dior Moor, Jaciee Moralees, Ka’Lecia Peterson, Ever Robinson, Adele Smith, Chloe Smith, Alixandria Speight, Audrinna Speight, Ava Thompson and mascot Johnathan Torres, according to the Legacy Cheer Booster Club’s Facebook page for the cheer team.

Junior varsity cheerleaders chosen include Kali Crysdale, Azucena Diceno, Avery McCann, A’Nijah Sillemon, Jordan Thomas and Elizabeth Pitts.

The Legacy student section’s occupants did their part, too, showing up Friday creatively decked out in school colors of royal blue and gold in wigs, body paint and at least one bright feather boa.

They stood fast in their support even as their team was defeated 27-0.

Hilltop school spirit will be on tap again when the Leopards play this coming Friday, Sept. 26 in Memorial Stadium against the Wylie High Bulldogs from Abilene.
