The Texas Tech softball team continues play in the Big 12 Conference tournament by taking on Kansas in the semifinals at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.
The top-seeded Red Raiders (51-5) earned a 7-0 win over Baylor to open tournament play. Kansas, the No. 5 seed in the tournament, overcame an early deficit to beat UCF 6-5.
This will be the first meeting between Texas Tech and Kansas this season after not playing during the regular season.
