Lubbock is finally getting its first Total Wine & More this month, the company announced Wednesday. Here’s what to know, including an opening day.
What is Total Wine & More Lubbock?
Total Wine & More is the largest independent fine wine, spirits and beer retailer in the nation, according to a news release announcing plans for Lubbock. It was founded in 1991 and now operates more than 290 stores. It also offers classes. The new store is the 41st in Texas and created 25 jobs.
“Lubbock has such a strong sense of community, and we’re excited to be a part of it,” said Shirin Odar, Chief Stores Officer at Total Wine & More. “From spotlighting local producers to helping customers find everything they need for this upcoming tailgate season at Texas Tech, we’re committed to serving our neighbors with the lowest prices on wine, spirits, beer, and even THC-infused beverages.”
The Lubbock store will cover 17,000 sq. ft. and offer more than 5,000 wines, 4,500 distilled spirits and 2,500 beers from around the world. Non-alcoholic drinks, including THC infused beverages, cigars, accessories and gifts will be available as well. Local brands, including McPherson Cellars, will be available.

Where is Total Wine & More Lubbock?
The store will be located at 6038 Marsha Sharp Freeway West, Suite 100, in the Canyon West shopping center.
When is Total Wine & More open in Lubbock?
The grand opening is May 21 and will feature in-store tastings for the event. Other events are planned throughout the summer, according to the release.
