Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason played solid minutes during the 2025-26 season, his fourth year in the NBA. The former LSU product played a career-high 25.8 minutes per game, making 60 appearances, 34 of which were starts.
That said, the former No. 17 overall selection didn’t make many improvements. The most notable areas where Eason took a step back were field goal percentage (career-low 41.6%), turnovers (career-worst 1.4), blocks per game (career-low 0.5) and scoring (10.5 points per game). Eason still showed many positives when on the court, most notably his energy, athleticism and defensive activity. But it’s safe to say Houston had probably hoped for more from the forward in his contract year. Now that Eason is a restricted free agent, Houston will have to decide how much they believe he’s worth.
