The Grubbs Family of Dealerships held the official grand opening of the Grubbs Hyundai of Wichita Falls on Thursday.
Owner George Grubbs III and CEO Wes Hays led the ceremony.
On March 17, Grubbs took over several of the automobile dealerships that had been owned by Foundation Auto and clustered in the vicinity of Central Freeway at Jacksboro Highway.
Grubbs said at the time that his family chose Wichita Falls because it’s “a growing market,” and it’s close to the Dallas-Fort Worth area where the company is headquartered in Grapevine.
The company bought the Hyundai, Kia, GMC, Cadillac, BMW, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge Ram dealerships from Foundation.
“These brands are great brands. We don’t currently represent these brands, so it’s a good opportunity for us to represent some new brands,” Grubbs said.
