AWS says data center overheating in North Virginia disrupts services; Coinbase impacted

May 7 (Reuters) – Amazon’s cloud unit, Amazon Web Services, said on Thursday it was working to restore normal temperatures at a data center in North Virginia after overheating disrupted some services.

The incident caused a power loss that affected certain hardware, AWS said, adding that services reliant on the impacted data center could experience “impairments”.
