Former UTEP basketball star Tim Hardaway will have book about his life released in October

Former UTEP men’s basketball player and longtime NBA starting guard Tim Hardaway will have a book on his life released in October, according to an Instagram post by Hardaway.

The book is titled “Killer Crossover: My Life From the Chicago Streets To Basketball Royalty.”

The book was written with Jake Uitti and the forward is written by Chris Mullin, a former teammate of Hardaway in the NBA.

Tim Hardaway’s career at UTEP

Hardaway played at UTEP from 1985-89, competed in 124 games, averaged 11.8 points, 4.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game. In his senior season, he averaged 22.0 points and 5.4 assists per game.

Tim Hardaway’s NBA career

Hardaway scored 15,373 points and had 7,095 assists in his pro career from 1989-2003. He was a five-time NBA All-Star and played for Golden State, Miami, Dallas, Denver and Indiana.

Hardaway was selected in the first round of the 1989 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors.
