El Paso police are investigating a serious traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in the far East Side.
The collision occurred about 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, in the 1800 block of North Zaragoza Road south of Montwood Drive, Detective Judy Oviedo, a police spokesperson, said in a message.
A motorcycle could be seen lying on the street in front of a red Toyota Tundra pickup. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital in critical condition, an officer said at the scene.
The wreck is under investigation by the Special Traffic Investigations Unit. Further details were not immediately available.
