A power outage has left more than 4,000 customers in West El Paso without electricity.
El Paso Electric reported the outage at 1:46 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, and crews are working to restore service with an estimated completion time of 4 p.m. as they investigate the cause of the disruption.
According to a video on social media, traffic along North Desert Boulevard near Interstate 10 is at a standstill because traffic lights are out and nearby businesses are in the dark.
