Current spring schedules for each SEC football team

Texas A&M’s spring schedule has been unveiled, as the Aggies look to carry the momentum of last season’s historic success into 2026.

Entering his third year at the helm in Bryan-College Station, head coach Mike Elko will lead his team through spring training beginning on Friday, March 20, with the Aggies’ spring game set for Saturday, April 18, according to On3 Sports’ college football insider Pete Nakos.

Texas A&M started the 2025 campaign 11-0 for the first time since 1992, while also securing its first-ever College Football Playoff bid. The Aggies’ playoff appearance was cut short by the Miami Hurricanes, who defeated Texas A&M 10-3 at Kyle Field in the first round.

Elko had his hands full this offseason with a school-record 13 players being invited to the 2026 NFL Combine, in hopes of hearing their names called during the draft in April. At the same time, the third-year head coach was forced to find replacements on his staff, after former Texas A&M offensive coordinator Collin Klein departed to become the new Kansas State head coach and defensive coordinator Jay Bateman left for the same role at Kentucky.

While there is much work to be done during the spring to get the roster settled in and build upon last season’s success, the Aggies have the talent to exceed expectations again in 2026. According to the On3 Sports transfer portal recruiting rankings and Rivals recruiting rankings, Texas A&M ranks No. 4 and No. 7, respectively.
