Content from the mothership will sound a bit different this year after Cowboys TV host, producer, and reporter Kyle Youmans announced he will be leaving Dallas, taking a major step forward in his broadcasting career to become the new radio voice for the Ravens.
Baltimore announced that Youmans will serve as the team’s play-by-play announcer, replacing longtime broadcaster Gerry Sandusky becoming just the third “Voice of the Ravens” in franchise history.
For Cowboys fans, the departure marks the end of a highly productive and visible tenure within the organization’s media department. Youmans spent seven seasons in Dallas (2019-2025), where he became one of the most recognizable faces and voices across the team’s multimedia platforms.
Youmans and Dallas will have a family reunion of sorts. The Cowboys and Ravens will travel to Rio De Jeneiro, Brazil in Week 3 as part of the NFL’s ever-expanding International Series.
During his time with the Cowboys, Youmans contributed to more than 1,000 pieces of content while also anchoring NFL Draft coverage appearing on a variety of shows and broadcasts. His versatility extended beyond studio work as he also handled many local duties such as calling University of North Texas, Texas Legends, and the Dallas Mavericks G league affiliate games among others.
The four-time Lone Star EMMY Award winner with Cowboys TV move to Baltimore represents a significant elevation in role. Youmans will join Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Rod Woodson in the booth.
Youmans will seek his own legendary call such as Cowboys broadcast voice Brad Shams “Move over Sweetness, Make a place for Emmitt” moment, yet you can’t help but appreciate the contribution Youmans made for all Dallas fans.
