Comedian and actor Rob Schneider threw out the first pitch at the El Paso Chihuahuas game after he was spotted at an El Paso coffee shop along with musician Drake Bell.
Schneider sported a red Chihuahuas jersey and spent a good few seconds warming up before throwing the ball, which successfully made its landing — the moment captured on an Instagram video shared by the Triple-A team.

“Rob Schneider wasn’t a Benchwarmer tonight,” the Chihuahuas posted, making reference to the comedian’s 2006 film, “The Benchwarmers,” co-starring David Spade and Jon Heder.
Baseball fans were delighted to see a celebrity appear at Southwest University Park with dozens of comments on the El Paso Chihuahuas’ Instagram page.
“I love this,” one comment said.
“Wow, Rob Schneider in an El Paso Chihuahuas jersey? Didn’t know I needed that, but here we are,” another person wrote.
Schneider was in El Paso on Saturday night for a performance at the Abraham Chavez Theater.
Former “Drake & Josh” star Drake Bell was also spotted in Downtown El Paso before playing a show at Lowbrow Palace.
