Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning recall: See impacted products

A seasoning sold at Walmart stores has been recalled over a risk of salmonella.

Blackstone Products of Providence, Utah is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, according to a May 15 notice by the Food and Drug Administration.

The recall is a due to a dry milk powder ingredient that was supplied to a third-party manufacturer and used in the seasoning product, the notice states.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

Customers who have affected product should not consume the product and should dispose of it immediately or may call Blackstone Products directly at 1-888-879-4610 for a replacement.
