With an exhilarating regular season and five exciting rounds of postseason play now officially in the books, it’s time to move on to the final round of the 2026 Texas high school softball playoffs.
The Lone Star State’s top teams on the softball diamond will compete in the 2026 UIL Softball State Championship running from Thursday, May 28, through Saturday, May 30, at the University of Texas’ Red and Carline McCombs Field in Austin.
11 new UIL softball state champions are set to be crowned this week, starting with Class 2A and 3A action on Thursday, May 28.
The Lone Star State’s best Class 4A and 5A teams will take the field for Day 2 of state championship weekend on Friday, May 29, while Class 6A and 1A squads will round out the final UIL state title games on Saturday, May 30.
