One man was injured in a shooting in the 3900 block of South Tyler Street over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
The Amarillo Police Department said on Monday, May 25, a man with serious injuries was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators with APD’s Violent Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Preliminary information indicated the shooting may be related to domestic violence.
As of Tuesday, no arrests had been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
