Bernie Sanders takes over Texas Democratic Convention in Corpus Christi

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders made his way to Corpus Christi to speak at the Texas Democratic Convention at the Hilliard Center on June 27.

Sanders was one of many political speakers who took the stage over the three-day event.

He spoke about health care struggles, public education funding cuts, high food costs, the rise of artificial intelligence, working-class families, U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement, trillionaire Elon Musk and President Donald Trump.

The convention ended for the weekend after Sanders’ speech, which ran more than 30 minutes.
